Who should apply?
- Highly motivated NC State Animal Science students interested in food animal research
- NC State Animal Science students considering graduate school
- NC State Animal Science students who are in underrepresented groups, disabled, come from a rural county or under-resourced background, or those who are the first generation in their families to attend college are particularly encouraged to apply
NOTE: You will need to have a PDF of your most recent transcript and your resume as well as the name of the person submitting a letter of recommendation for you before you complete the Google form.
Please remember that we expect that students selected to participate in this program will be present for and participate in 2 of the 4 week lab rotations, the 8-week Safety and Ethics course, and be present for and participate in the full 12 weeks of summer programming.
All students are expected to participate in all scheduled activities of the program.
The application form will go live on September 8, 2023 and are due by November 1, 2023.
